Man Arrested for Gruesome Cannibalistic Attack in Las Vegas 7-Eleven Parking Lot

Police in Las Vegas have arrested Colin Czech, 29, after a gruesome incident in which he allegedly attacked and killed a man in a 7-Eleven car park, then proceeded to consume parts of the victim’s body, including his ear and eyeball.

Czech, described as homeless, was found by police covered in blood and kneeling over the mutilated head of the victim, identified as Kenneth Brown. Witnesses reported seeing Czech assaulting Brown, banging his head on the concrete and displaying erratic behavior.

According to police reports, Czech admitted to using his teeth to consume the victim’s ear and eyeball. The attack occurred near the famous Las Vegas Strip, close to landmarks like the Haunted Museum and Little White Chapel.

Authorities responded to a 911 call reporting Czech eating the victim’s face at a nearby bus stop. Upon arrival, they found Czech with blood and biological matter on his face, hands, mouth, and clothing. Brown was found unresponsive, bleeding, and missing parts of his left ear and eye.

Czech, who claimed he had not slept for five nights due to feeling possessed, told detectives that he believed he was fighting a “shape-shifter” named Drake, whom he thought was the victim. He attributed his actions to voices in his head and claimed a “higher power” aided him in the attack.

During a court appearance, Czech’s lawyer argued that he was mentally incompetent to stand trial, citing his bizarre behavior and statements. Czech was remanded in custody without bail pending a competency hearing scheduled for May 24. If deemed mentally incompetent, he will be sent to a mental institution for treatment.
