Former NFL Star Terrell Suggs Arrested Following Altercation at Starbucks Drive-Through

Reports have surfaced detailing the arrest of Terrell Suggs on Tuesday, charged with assault and offenses against public order, stemming from a March incident in which he allegedly brandished a gun and issued threats during an altercation at a Starbucks drive-through.

The arrest occurred at 2:40 pm on Tuesday, with Suggs taken into custody and brought to jail in Maricopa County, Arizona. According to police documents obtained by TMZ, the incident unfolded on March 10, initiated when Suggs inadvertently made contact with another driver’s car.

The altercation commenced at a Scottsdale Starbucks drive-through, where Suggs, a former Ravens linebacker, encountered the other driver’s vehicle while maneuvering his own. Although no damage was reported to the other vehicle, a verbal dispute ensued, escalating when Suggs purportedly directed derogatory language towards the other driver, including racial slurs.

Police documents indicate that Suggs allegedly escalated the confrontation by challenging the man to a physical altercation and issuing threats of violence, including brandishing a black handgun outside his car window, although not directly aimed at the other individual.

Sources close to Suggs, as reported by TMZ, assert that he perceived a threat during the altercation, contrasting with the account provided by the other party, who reported the incident to authorities.

Following his release from jail on Tuesday evening, this incident marks a recurrence of legal entanglements for the 41-year-old, who was previously arrested in 2016 for driving with a suspended license and allegedly fleeing the scene of a car accident in Scottsdale.

Despite legal challenges off the field, Suggs enjoyed a remarkable 17-year career in the NFL, earning seven Pro Bowl selections for his athletic prowess and contributions to the sport.
