Law enforcement officials have confirmed that they are searching for Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice following a significant multivehicle accident in northeast Dallas on Saturday evening.
The crash, which occurred around 6:20 p.m. in the 6600 block of North Central Expressway, involved a vehicle believed to be registered or leased to Rice, according to officials. Police are actively seeking Rice in connection with the incident, as indicated by a police call sheet obtained by The News.
Details regarding Rice’s alleged involvement in the collision remain unclear. According to Dallas police spokeswoman Kristin Lowman, initial investigations suggest that the drivers of a Chevrolet Corvette and a Lamborghini were speeding in the far left lane near University Boulevard when both vehicles lost control.
